「萬一」與「當下」
那天跟朋友閒談，他正在計劃技術移民，需要用四年的時間考一個牌照。身邊的朋友都說他很「搏」要諗清楚。萬一四年後政策改了，那不就白白浪費了現在做的一切嗎？萬一兒女長大後，他們埋怨你為什麼要離開，又怎麼辦？
我問他與妻子共識了沒有，他說己經共識了，那其實已經解決了所有問題。身邊朋友的意見可以聆聽，可以分析，但最終和你走下去的，是你身邊的那一位。共識是一種互相尊重的行為，是此時此刻大家都認同的。緊記，是此時，此刻。
四年後世界怎樣沒有人能預測，兒女長大後會發生什麼事，有什麼好或壞的際遇更加不能控制。說直一點，這是他們自己的造化。即使你是他們的父親，也不需要將這個責任放得太大。
面對這種情況，最好的處理方法就是「此時此刻」。根據現在你收到的資訊及現在擁有的條件，作出一個盡可能最好的決定，不要過份顧慮未來，不要被以前的經歷困擾。如果人生中每一個決定都是這樣做，即使日後出現不如意的狀況，回想當天做決定的時候，你也是做了當刻的最好決定。這樣會比較容易接受及過渡艱難時期，不會被愧疚蠶食。如果當時因為聽了別人的意見而改變自己的意願，問題來的時候就會容易感到委屈，想推卸責任，要從這種被害者情緒中解脫，也需要一定的修行才做到。
